WiFi and Jesus…

Yesterday was a big day for Leading and Loving It… we kicked off our first virtual conference, JustONE. Hope you gals were able to join us for a fantastic session focusing on relationships and criticism, two things we have no way of avoiding in ministry!
So many really insightful and wise comments were made by all three speakers that I almost couldn’t decide what to blog about today. But late last night I sat down to reflect on the day and realized there was one story that was threaded through so many of my conversations yesterday. Right as the morning session started we were all virtually chatting it up and someone made a comment that gave me goosebumps.
A sweet gal commented and said, “I’m joining you all from Serbia. This is the first time in three years I’ve been able to worship with a group of women.”
And at that moment it struck me that all the times we secretly wondered if anyone would watch didn’t matter. We are doing what we’ve felt God calling us to do. We’re providing the community we have dreamed about the last few years! Women are feeling connected, encouraged and equipped… even a sweet friend serving Christ in Serbia!
Yes, our community is fueled by a little WiFi and a lot of Jesus. But it’s an active community none the less where relationships replenish.

Brandi I saw that comment also. Yesterday was awesome, but as excited as I was about the conference I am even more excited about all of the new relationships that were formed yesterday!

I tried to join yesterday, but the feed kept cutting in and out so I couldn’t even follow what was being said. Will you be posting it as a video that we could watch and “catch up” on what was said?

Oh my heart is so full of joy today! I just felt so refreshed after yesterday! Thank you gals so much for putting this together. It’s been a dream of mine for so long to connect with other PWs. I appreciate you all!! Can’t wait until next week!!

So bummed to have missed it. I logged on in the morning and realized I don’t REALLY understand my timezone! haha! Oh well. Can’t wait to next week. As someone involved in ministry, I enjoy this opportunity to learn!

It was so awesome to be apart of a community of women and glean bits of wisdom from four fabulous ladies. I love my online friends as much as my real time friends. I am so thankful for this community.
