What’s Your Flavor… Seasons

It’s the most wonderful time of the year here in Nashville… SPRING!  I have loved spring for as long as I can remember.  As a little girl the site of yellow buttercups blooming on the countryside always delighted me, gave me a transparent sense of renewal.

Spring brings excitement, new beginnings, a freshness that has been hidden all winter long.  Blue skies, strawberries fresh from the patch, trees budding, seedlings in the garden… I could go on and on!

Everyone weigh in… where are you all located and what’s your favorite season in your area of the world?

When we lived in Virginia fall was always my favorite season. The Blue Ridge mountains were vibrant with color. Beautiful! Now that we live in the midwest I’d have to say spring is my favorite though…it means we made it through another Iowa winter!

I’m from good ol’ Southern Ohio in Chillicothe, about 45 minutes South of Columbus. My fav season is Fall with Spring a close second! Fall time in Ohio is absolutely gorgeous & it’s Buckeye football time too!! O-H!

I am from Oklahoma. It is a toss up between fall and spring. If you are going to make me choose one, I’ll go with fall.

I, too, love fall (in TX) yet it seems that I always anticipate spring the most. Something about cool nights, changing leaves, football games in the background and new school shoes makes my heart rejoice though.

I love Summer. I am in Southern California so the beach is close by. Farmer’s Markets, picnics, and Summer vacation. Plus I love the 80 to 90 degree weather.

In Vegas we love Fall. After 115* summers it is a welcome relief. Too bad it only lasts about 3 weeks.

In Houston it is hot hot hot but Summer is my favorite! Lazy summer days in flip flops a ponytail and sunglasses is my comfort zone. We have the best family reunion memories on our annual on the beach stay at South Padre Island.

Fall!! I’m in South Carolina, and where I live in the upper part of the state, we have amazing colors to enjoy, and I’m only 45 min. away from Asheville if I need even more color.

We are in Oregon! Beautiful fall in the NW but the green and all the blooms in the spring is breathtaking, as well! Usually wet, but gorgeous when the sun does shine! (like today :)

Traverse City, MI… I love Spring for all the blooming flowers and trees. I love summer for the beaches and farmer’s markets. I love fall for all the vibrant colors on the trees. Having grown up in Vegas I find winter out here long and brutal. I totally get the whole “snow bird” concept now.

Oh Angie … I always feel for you guys in those brutal winters. Living in Vegas makes you a complete cold-weather-wimp!

Being in South Carolina and just inside of an hour away from the beach, I have to say that my favorite is the hazy, lazy days of summer!!

In San Diego, and summer is definitely my favorite! Love the long nights when there’s time to play outside for hours after dinner!
